I am a local historian/researcher living in Dover, England. In April 2006 I started researching the different Dover's around the World for my local paper, Dover Mercury. There are some 88 Dovers and the paper published the first few, which proved to be very popular. To aide my research I contacted the different towns and the help I received was excellent. Moreover, my published articles were well received by the various Dovers as well as by the readers of the paper.
However, one there was one major feed back 'complaint'.
The different Dovers wished to read about the other towns with the name of Dover!
I hope that publishing my articles on the Dover Society website that this issue is resolved.
