Members of the Dover Society on Monday
19th January 2004 enjoyed two talks by speakers on archaeology and the environment. Archaeologist Keith Parfitt told the discovery on the internationally important Bronze Age gold cup on farmland at Woodnesborough while Kirk Alexander detailed the history and progress of the White Cliffs Country Project and how its efforts were attracting green tourism into the district. Both used colourful slides in their talks.
